ABOUT ME
I am currently a Year 13 student at BOA stage and screen academy in Birmingham. During my time at this college, I have started to develop the necessary skills to proceed into the Production arts industry. So far I have worked on many different projects and productions, These productions help aid me in putting my skills into practice.

My Experience
At BOA Stage and Screen Academy, I have been able to develop many Skills and have been able to do lots of different courses to aid my development in this industry. The courses that I have completed are Manual Handling, Ladder Safety, Working At Height, Electrical Safety and Fire Warden. I have also had training on Lighting consoles such as ETC and MA. I have also been given the opportunity to work freelance in and around birmingham, These include Lab11 Load Ins and Load Outs as well as Corporate events and small scale festivals across the UK.
LIGHTING DESIGNER/OPERATOR

The above photo shows a rig we had for an open event that the college held. My role in this event as a lighting designer was to listen to the music and come up with design ideas to make the light show look good. Once this had been completed my design ideas I was then able to plot on the lighting desk to bring the show to life.

Frankenstein was a project that I worked on as a Lighting designer for my lighting assessment. I was given a scene which I had to break down and come up with ideas to help elaborate the story as much as possible. My role as a lighting designer was to design specific lighting cues for a scene in Frankenstein to help tell the story of the performance

In BOA's Christmas production of beauty and the Beast, I was lucky enough to have been given the opportunity to operate the show. My role during this was to listen to the cues that the Deputy Stage manager was calling and then act upon the cue she was calling. This role was very high responsibility role.
