Carrying data to fixtures

Data is carried across a cable called a DMX cable. The function of a DMX cable is that it can carry lines of data from an LX desk to a fixture. DMX works in chains and for a DMX chain to work it must be a full loop and not have any disconnected cables otherwise it won't work this is important to understand because without it you won't be able to have a working DMX chain.
